The Big Training Day 2005
Following the enormous success of the 30th Anniversary Event last year - Another event was planned for this year and was a tremendous success, in so much as it is now to be an Annual Event.

100 Instructors & Students went along to the Sands Centre in Carlisle on Sunday 17th July to train with Chief Instructor Sensei Doug James 7th Dan and the Senior Instructors of the Chojinkai Karate Association.

Instructors on the day included Paul Jackson 6th Dan, Ray Hind 4th Dan, Iain Abernethy 4th Dan, Steve Chaplow 4th Dan, Gordon Harrison 4th Dan, Darren Longstaff 4th Dan, Lee Wilson 3rd Dan, Murray Denwood 3rd Dan and Mark Holding 3rd Dan.

It looks like the clubs junior members had an excellent day out, as the picture below shows.

Not to be outdone by so much enthusiam from the junior grades, the instructors went out of their way to demonstrate some very advanced self defence and weapons techniques, as well as generally having a good time.

If you were unlucky enough to miss the day, your instructor can tell you about some of the excellent things you missed. See you at the next one!!!
